We house all of our mice in CritterTrail products by Super Pet. All of our additions are also by Super Pet, in order to be sure that everything fits together and is safe for our mice.

Each group of mice has a different cage and cage color, to keep them organized. For the girls, pink. For the boys, blue. We use a small traveling CritterTrail cage to keep the mice in when cleaning. In all other cases, they are housed in the large, full-sized cages in order to give them to most room we can.

Every cage has a minimum of one wheel, even the cleaning cage. We use metal mesh wheels with a large gap between the barbell and the section holding the wheel up to keep them safe. We also try to keep them with, at minimum, one toy and cardboard rolls. They also have wooden treats and toys to chew on and climb.

In every home they have a large food bowl. We do use the round Super Pet food bowls, so everything can match. Every day they get new food and water.

Each cage is cleaned once a week, one at a time. We only use CareFresh Pet Bedding for our mice.
